• Eastnor Castle (10 minutes), Sudeley Castle (20 minutes), Berkeley Castle (25 minutes) and Warwick Castle only (40 minutes) .

• Hidcote Gardens only 40 minutes away.

• Westonbirt Arboretum (bliss!) only 45 minutes, and the Wildfowl Trust at Slimbridge (35 minutes).

• Elgar’s Birthplace if you are Musical (10 minutes)

• Madresfield (where Brideshead Revisited was filmed) 15 minutes.

• Cheltenham Racecourse – Mecca for National Hunt enthusiasts (10 minutes)
