“Weddings at Corse Lawn House are truly special events”

We are delighted to know that you are considering Corse Lawn as your wedding venue, and very much hope that you will decide upon us. Our family has owned and run Corse Lawn for 44 years now and we have probably done over a thousand weddings – all different shapes, sizes and requirements.

​At the same time we are, in no way, a specialized wedding venue. We do not do multiple weddings on the same day as we believe that it is your special day and no one else should be doing the same thing in the hotel.

​This also means that you will have our total attention. Yes there may well be other guests in the hotel, but there will be no other large parties and certainly no other weddings.

We also believe that the hotel lends itself particularly well to wedding parties with its lovely gardens and grounds, and its variety of function rooms. Small family weddings can be catered for in our two private-rooms for up to 40 in one and 16 in the other, or alternatively for the larger events, up to 75 in our main restaurant area.

​We are always happy to organise any special requests (we have done most things over the years), and to do all that is possible to make sure you have a happy and memorable occasion.

​Weddings at Corse Lawn House

​At Corse Lawn we are licensed for civil ceremonies to be held in three rooms:

​(1) South Room – holds up to 25 people

(2) Garden Room – holds up to 60 people

​(3) Main Restaurant – 75 people all sat down

​We also have a license for an outdoor gazebo wedding which will also cater for up to 75 people all sat but will work equally well for much smaller parties.

​The Civil Ceremony itself is carried out by Superintendent Registrar Janet Ellis who operates under Worcestershire County

Availability and Times For Wedding Receptions

Civil Ceremonies AND Receptions

Lunch: Available for up to 75 people 5 days a week. Arrival not before 10.30am and hotel must be vacated by 5.15pm.

Dinner: Available for up to 75 people 5 days a week. Arrival not before 2.30pm and all non-residents must vacate the hotel by 11.30pm

​Wedding Receptions Only

Lunch: Available for up to 75 people 5 days a week. Arrival not before 12 noon and hotel must be vacated by 5.15pm.

Dinner: Available for up to 75 people 5 days a week. Arrival not before 6.30pm and all non-residents must vacate the hotel by 11.30pm.

All day receptions – ie lunch and evening can be arranged.

All evening receptions of greater than 35 people must book at least 10 of the hotel bedrooms.

Certain exceptions to the above may be made upon discussion with Baba Hine.

Price Guidelines

Civil Ceremonies:

There is a room hire charge for these as follows:

South Room: £200
Garden Room: £250
Main Restaurant: £300
Gazebo/Outdoor: £350

Suggested menus and their prices are available below. Should you want something different then we will be delighted to discuss this and will quote an appropriate price.

Drinks:

Drinks packages are something we find very difficult to do as everybody wants something different and in varying quantities. Hence we would rather discuss your requirements and quote you a price.

Confirmation:

To confirm your booking all we need is a letter of confirmation and a signed copy of our cancellation policy. All other charges will be sent to you after the Reception and are due within 14 days of receipt.
