Snug Bar

“Somewhere very relaxed to hide away”

We built the Snug Bar in February 2015. There were numerous reasons for it: we needed more space, we wanted a more pub-like area where guests could just drink and maybe watch tv; an area where people could eat with their dogs; and a place for parties to gather.

It has proved very popular and as a result is open from 12 noon to 10pm. We will always serve food in the Snug and the full bistro menu is available 12 noon to 2pm and 6.30pm to 8.30pm. Afternoon Tea is served between 3pm and 4:30pm.

It is open to everyone – not just residents – and indeed is an area where we see many of our friends.

There is a small patio at the back of the Snug to catch the evening sun and you are always welcome to take your drinks to the front of the hotel if you prefer.

Please Note.  We are only open from Wednesdays to Sundays, we close after breakfast on Mondays until Wednesday at 10am.
