1Concha Y Toro Merlot 2008 (Chile) This is a good example of Chilean Merlot it is un-oaked and has an aroma of ripe berries. 4.509.5016.70
2Vino de la Tierra de Castilla 2006 (Barreda) Though a passionate Frenchman, Mr Hine Snr was happy to sell this as his house red. Made from 40 year old Tempranillo vines the wine has strong blackberry and plum fruit flavours. 4.60 17.20
3Primitivo di Salento 2003 (Tenute San Marco) Effectively this is Italian Zinfandel - a marvellous mixture of ripe fruit flavour with a touch of spice. 17.80
4gb51 Cabernet Sauvignon Shiraz 2006 (Grant Burge, South Australia) These classic French grape varieties are ideally suited to the very hot Australian climate. Big, strong and high in alcohol! . 5.20 18.90
5Grenache Noir Cotes Catalanes 2005 This is from the foot of the Pyrenees. Grenache is seldom seen as a single varietal in France except here where in the neighbouring appellation Maury, the grape is made into a sweet wine. This has great power and real rustic attraction. Very good with Game. 5.65 24.20
6Carrascal 2004 (Mendoza, Argentina) This blend of Malbec, Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot grapes is highly rated by Robert Parker himself - quite right he is too. 13.40 23.40
7Cotes du Rhone 2003 (E Guigal) The 2003 vintage is one of the finest of this cuvee. It generally includes approximately 50% Syrah 30-40% Grenache and the rest Mourvedre. 15.10 24.70
8Muga Reserva (Rioja) An Excellent Rioja with Huge plum, blackberry and oak flavours. 19.00 31.00
9Glen Carlou Grand Classique2004 (Finlayson) A South African blend of the classic grape varieties Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot. Deep ruby red with an aroma of cloves and black berries, mild tannin. 33.10
10Beaune 2002 (Dom. Pascal Bouley) Medium bodied Pinot Noir made in what was a fantastic vintage for Burgundy. 34.90
11Seghesio Zinfandel 2005 (California) Made in Sonoma County, California this is a velvety rich Zinfandel with aromas of blueberry and cherry. With a hint of spice. 36.55
12Ch. Musar 2000 (Hochar) Stunning Cabernet Sauvignon/Cinsault blend with a world wide reputation, made in of all places Lebanon 27.0041.55

14Rudesheimer Rosengarten Qba Nahetal 2006 This is a full flavoured of pears and green apple from the Nahe region of Germany. If you like your Wine medium then this is for you. 4.60 17.20
15Vin de Pays Charentais Chardonnay 2007 (Hauselmann) Found by Mr Hine's brother Jacques, we import this Chardonnay from near La Rochelle. 4.60 17.20
16Gros Manseng 2006 (Alain Brumont) Made near Jurancon this is an aromatic, dry and yet fruity in the mouth. Deliciously different. 4.95 21.00
17Saint Clair Sauvignon Blanc 2008 Marlborough, N.Z Simply the best New Zealand Sauvignon we have found! Super value too. 4.95 21.00
18C.N.V.E Monopole Blanco 2005 (Rioja) Barrel fermented Viura and Malvasia grapes are used in the making of this wine. The result is a Dry, lemon fresh wine with a touch of oak. 21.60
19Pinot Grigio 2007 (Puiatti) A dry and fruity white wine made from 100% Pinot Grigio, pale in colour with fresh grassy notes and hint of green apple. 25.85
20Te Whare Ra Riesling 2004 (Marlborough) A Riesling with a nose of floral, apple and lemon characters and a lingering finish with crisp lemony acidity. 27.10
21Sancerre a Chavignol 2007 (Dom. Serge Laporte) Exceedingly good value Sancerre - ie. fruity sauvignon 28.30
22Petit Chablis 2007 (Brocard) Good, honest Chablis at a sensible price. 15.9528.40
23Rijk's Private Cellar Chenin Blanc 2003 (Tulbagh, South Africa) Dry white wine of which 60% has been barrel fermented in French oak, 40% cold fermented in stainless steel tanks. Yellow fruit aroma and a long lasting creamy aftertaste. 29.75
24Cullen Reserve Semillon/Sauvignon 2002 (Western Australia) Predominantly made from Sauvignon Blanc this is a dry wine with a citrus and passion fruit flavour. 34.55

25La Combe Blanche 2006 From the Minervois France. This is made with Syrah, Merlot, Cinsault and Grenache. It is full of ripe red fruit and it goes well with most foods or by itself. 4.40 16.20

26Varichon et Clerc N.V. Made from the grape variety “Jacquère” grown in the French Alps this is a delightful alternative to Champagne. 23.00
