Our Fish Policy. We have decided to ban all endangered species of fish from our menus. Working closely with the Marine Conservation Society we are now using only fish from sustainable stocks that have been caught using methods which minimise damage to the environment. Obviously some familiar names will be absent from our menu, no more Cod, Monkfish, Halibut, Hake, Skate and many more, but we are replacing them with lesser known fish such as Megrim, Catfish and Pollack which are just as delicious and are from sustainable stocks. There are still many types of well-known fish too, like line caught Sea Bass, Sole, Turbot, Red Mullet, Sea Bream, Sardines and almost all shell fish, that we can use. It is just a question of being selective. This is our way of trying to preserve endangered fish stocks – we hope you will agree with us, and if you do, then talk about it so that little by little we may increase awareness of the situation and, eventually, stop the trawlers annihilating our fish stocks.
We do not use Genetically Modified Foods
